Department Description
Transducer Supply Chain Engineering at Philips Ultrasound develops and supports manufacturing processes for the most innovative medical ultrasound equipment in the industry. We work in a fast paced, process driven environment building high quality medical devices that lead our industry and improve people's lives.

Candidate Responsibilities
Work as a member of the Transducer manufacturing engineering team supporting both the introduction of new transducer products and current ongoing production. Responsible for the engineering tasks associated with design transfer, qualification, and production start-up of new products and manufacturing processes. Provide responsive engineering support for released products.

Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. A minimum of five years experience in manufacturing engineering working directly on a production floor solving manufacturing engineering problems. Proven and demonstrated problem solving skills are required. Experience in manufacturing process development, statistical engineering tools, test equipment operation is required. Green belt/black belt certification is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude is a must. Demonstrated experience with the validation, documentation, and manufacture of medical devices is a plus. Must have very strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills. Spanish or Chinese language skills is a plus.
